School Districts

The Town of Patterson contains portions of three school districts. Most of the southern portion of the Town is part of the Brewster Central School District. Most of the northern part of the Town is within the Carmel Central School District. A very small portion of northeastern Patterson is within the Pawling Central School District.

The Matthew Paterson Elementary School and the George Fischer Middle School, both part of the Carmel School District, are the only schools located within the Town of Patterson.

Taxes for each School District are collected directly by the Districts, and are due in September.
